I can teach learners who don't speak the target language at all and highly advanced students, focusing on Pronunciation and speaking in order to better their communication skills. I do this in a fun way, by using games. I don't teach just by textbook, because my experience tells me that people don't remember as much when taught that way. My lessons will make you feel like you progress quickly and make you feel like you are ready to use the language. |

My name is Ellie. I'm a very professional and experienced teacher for the Dutch language, my native.
I've taught online (virtual classes) for one of the most renowned international language schools in the world and was called their "best teacher".
Most of my students were business people, managers and engineers for international enter-prises. They were required to work in Dutch at a high level and to learn that in a relatively short period of time. I trained them to manage projects in a Dutch speaking environment. Whatever he or she needs/wants I can incorporate into the lessons, whether it concerns pronunciation, grammar or a more practical approach where I teach functional elements for everyday situations. When learning a new language it is of particular importance to concentrate on those words that you will use frequently. You can always look-up the lesser-frequently used words. Moreover, the words being learned are to be actively practiced in the lessons as well, and preferably elsewhere too. It is my quality as a teacher to stimulate everybody in my classes to participate equally during my conversation training.
This conversation training, the core of the lesson, is based on the texts and words you have practiced at home with your book and CD-ROM. Because you are in a small group you will get a lot of personal attention while you are at practicing speaking and listening. Your stock of words will increase every lesson and after 24 lessons (two modules) you can use already 2400 words (Level A2) Indeed we do some basic grammar too.
